Plainfield Road
CORRIDOR STUDY
PURPOSE
Plainfield Road is a two-lane roadway under the jurisdiction of Cook County, Illinois. Located in the County's southwest suburbs, the study corridor is approximately 3.5 miles long - from County Line Road to East Avenue. The Plainfield Road Corridor Study is a Phase I Study initiated by the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways (DoTH) to advance the long-term goals outlined in DoTH’s Long Range Transportation Plan, Connecting Cook County. PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT Outreach efforts also play a fundamental role throughout the process. By incorporating stakeholders' priorities, by valuing community members' feedback, and by building upon adjacent plans, the Plainfield Road Corridor Study's public engagement process ensures that project outcomes align with the needs of the impacted communities. |
